Who we are

What we collect
When you submit a quote request we collect:
- Your name and phone number.
- Your postcode and a description of the work you need doing.

Technical information about your visit, including the advertising click identifier
(such as a Google
gclid), the page you landed on and the site that referred you.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To prepare and give you a quote, and to carry out work you ask us to do. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract, and performance of that contract.
- To measure which adverts generate genuine enquiries. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in running our advertising efficiently - and, where cookies are involved, your consent.
- To keep records of the work we have quoted for and carried out. Lawful basis: our legal obligations and legitimate interests.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with the suppliers who help us run this site and our business: our website and form hosting provider, our advertising platforms (Google), and our accountants and insurers where relevant. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not pass your details to other trades or lead-generation companies.
How long we keep it
Quote requests that do not become jobs are deleted within 24 months. Records relating to work we have carried out are kept for 6 years, in line with our legal and insurance obligations.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability. Contact us using the details above and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Non-essential cookies are only set after you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit.
- Essential. Remembering your cookie choice, and protecting our forms from spam. These cannot be turned off.
- Advertising and analytics (optional). Google Ads and Google Analytics cookies, which tell us which adverts and keywords led to an enquiry. These are only set with your consent, and we use Google's Consent Mode so that nothing is stored until you agree.

Submitting a quote request
Submitting a request does not guarantee that we will provide a quote, accept the work, or be available in your area. Quotes are given in good faith based on the information you provide and, where relevant, an inspection of the property.

We may update this notice from time to time. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
